My family had recently moved to the area and was very over whelmed, then you add on handling the college process and all of the forms. Courtney was amazing. She helped me with every step and was always quick to return phone calls and emails. She quickly made me feel comfortable and less stressed. I very much appreciate her and all that the organization does for students and their families. I am disappointed to know that they are closing the Bristol, RI off ice, as I am sure many families are.

Although they did not have the absolute lowest interest rates on student loan refi's, the rates were still very good and quite competitive. I tried to refi with Sofi out of California, and even with a credit rating of 831 out of 850, they wouldn't give me a loan (they had the lowest rate available at the time), and their application was not easy, like that of RISLA. RISLA posts your online payments quickly and their statements are easy to read. I haven't had to deal with customer service yet, but when I did do so 10 years ago with former RISLA loans, customer service was fantastic.

I highly recommend seeking advisement from the College Planning Center of Rhode Island. They truly are there to make the whole process as smooth and painfree as possible. Erin was amazing and quick. My Fasfa application was filled out in no time at all and I left having an excellent idea of how much was expected of my contribution to my son's college expenses. Worth the time to take to get any help you need.

Parents may not always get the amount or grants or scholarships they feel they need, but the process for applying for the FAFSA and CSS Profile is so much easier and accurate with the professionals like Stacey at CPCRI. In addition, they are knowledgeable about all of the loans available to families and of the requirements of all the College Financial Aid Offices.
Responded pretty timely to questions and when I needed assistance. When I needed my loans documents revised, they did so timely and accurately. Overall, the process was smooth. Now, just to see how being a customer of theirs is!

This is our 3rd time going to the RI Planning Center. Every time we have felt comfortable, were treated in a professional manner, and have been completely satisfied.
The staff are always willing to help and go out of their way to help in anyway. The staff always answer the phone and are very friendly.

Stacey did a wonderful job and is very knowledgeable.
The advisor was 20 minutes late for my appointment. I left the building and when I was getting in my car I heard her yell "excuse me are you here for college planning?" I said yes and she replied, "I am only 20 minutes late." She offered no apology and was a little rude during the appointment.

My time here was very beneficial, though we could not complete the application as my son had not yet set up his FAFSA id. At the onset of the appointment, I thought we would not be able to go through the application process but we were able to. So once he enrolls, we are good to go. My son is considering attending CCRI and was under the misconception that he had until spring to enroll. He can but not if he is interested in the Rhode Island Promise program. Fortunately this came up in conversation and I found out he only has to the end of December to enroll and be eligible for this program. Thank goodness this came up! The woman that worked with me was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I am so glad I went.

The process was seamless. The only criticism I would give it to make the location more clear before people come to the appointment. I was lost and late as a result. I did not know the entrance was outside of the mall. The directory inside the mall doesn’t show this.

One of the best and easiest ways to get you thru a very stressful time
This has been my second time using RISLA for my FAFSA and CSS Profile. My first venture to do it alone took several days over several weeks to complete the process. The federal forms are redundant and lunky to use. RISLA was able to swiftly navigate the forms and I was able to complete 2 FAFSA and 1 CSS profile, in under an hour. My counselor was extremely knowledgeable and was quick with the correct answers when asked.!!!!

We have used RISLA for our daughter's 4 yrs at URI to help finance her college tuition. I found the loan application process to be simple and straight forward. The interest rates were better than other loan options I looked into, so I would recommend RISLA to anyone needing a student loan in the RI area.
RISLA had a great rate for me to consolidate my student loans. I had a few questions during the application process and any time I called their customer service, I was able to talk to someone who could help answer all of my questions.
I wanted to Refinance and consolidate 2 loans I had with other companies. RISLA has competitive rates so I pulled the trigger. The thing that differentiates them to me has been the customer service. When I have called regarding status of the refinance or how to process everyone has been very helpful and prompt. This has been a great experience so far and feels good to not go through one of those huge student loan companies out there.
Quick to approve, will be using for all future loans.

On time,even 15 minutes early. What took me $1000.00 and a year ago with a paid firm with no rewards. Solanchi got me $6000.00 Grant and a larger staff loan in 25 minutes. My son and I met with Stacy in Cumberland and had a great experience. We truly needed help with the college application process and Stacy made it all very simple.
did not receive a break down of what the loan was covering with respect to the schools bill for which we are borrowing...had to ask the school today for that information. I am hoping this years loan conditions mirrors last year's commitment. Otherwise it was a 5 star experience. Easy Process This is my first time taking a loan for my sons education, I was pleasantly surprised that this process was so simple. I had a few questions and contacted the loan authority, they were excellent in answering my questions! I would recommend using the RI student loan authority.
Everything was done efficiently in applying for the loan online.
